A rate confirmation (rate con or rate confirmation sheet) is a written agreement between a freight broker and a carrier confirming the agreed-upon rate, fuel surcharge, accessorials, pickup, delivery, and special instructions for a specific load. Once signed by both parties it creates the contractual basis for payment — the same document the courts and your factoring company look at when a payment dispute lands.
Is this PDF legally binding?
The PDF this tool generates contains the same fields every dispatcher already fills out by hand. Do you store the load data?
No. This is a free public tool with no persistence. PDFs are rendered on the fly and discarded.
